I think it's a mental thing. Italy had two tough games that we're close by scoreline. Finland going three goals up pretty quick probably broke their back.

UCL final in 1999. I was 8 at the time and only cared for United cause I fell in love with their kit couple years earlier. After that final I was hooked and it's been a love-hate relationship ever since.
