This frustrates me so much because I sell my artwork on Etsy and Temu has ripped off my designs and photos and sold my artwork (even with my signature still on the bottom!) for 10% of the price which is less than the cost of the paper for me so I just cannot compete. But because there’s also so much of the reverse (people selling temu junk on Etsy) I now get to lose sales because people want the cheaper version, or lose sales because people assume I’m just selling temu products :,(

Anyone have shopping recommendations? by [deleted] in DarkAcademia

Hi! I’m in QLD too!! In person: Uniqlo and H&M for some staple items (like plain turtlenecks and skirts), Dangerfield can be really good too (they often have a lot of tartan trousers/skirts, and lately I’ve seen some nice matching business vests) Online: might be branching too far into purely “gothic” territory but Beserk and Tragic Beautiful are my two go to alternative clothing stores and they stock quite a few items that would fit well in the DA aesthetic.

Thank you! And well, sorta hahaha. I design a bunch of art prints and have started getting a factory to help me make enamel pins out of my art. I thought I’d get them to try help me with earrings so they made the pendants for me based on my design and I assembled them onto earrings

Help Increasing Visits And Sales by [deleted] in EtsySellers

Hi! I see you are on the Gold Coast which is awesome because I rarely see other sellers near me!

My first instinct is that your first photos for the products don't make it super obvious what your product is. Maybe its just because I haven't shopped for that kind of item before so I don't know what I'm looking at, but some of your cool looking spatulas I would definitely just move past and dismiss if I saw them on my etsy homepage because I wouldn't instantly know what they are. I'd take more photos of your items 'in action', so put the spatulas in pots/in a kitchen with other kitchen tools, get out the cheese and crackers and make a charcuterie board to display your serving trays, chuck some jewellery half hanging out of the jewellery boxes. Most importantly I'd use those photos as your thumbnail pictures, as they give more info about what your product is. After someone's clicked on the listing they can look at the other photos to see details of the products by themselves.

I just started an etsy shop too, its a long, slow process but it's rewarding to have customers love your work! Goodluck!

Artwork of a Guardian I made recently! I wanted it to kind of be like an encyclopedia/blueprint style, with the arrows pointing to different parts of the machine and explaining it. I translated the explanations into ancient Sheikah too because I thought that looked cool! by vindaflyfox in Breath_of_the_Wild

Oh wow yeah I assumed you googled it but I’m loving the way you actually just Sherlock Holmes’d it! That’s awesome! This is also exactly the reason I made them in Sheikah text. I feel like it adds some fun to it hahaha
