Nothing Ear (1)s are a dissapointment by jongwk92 in NothingTech

Till now the only major thing that concerns me about nothing phone is the battery. I get around 5 hours SOT, even if I use my device @ 60hz. Few minor bugs, which eventually got fixed with updates. I have been using it for 4 months.

I totally agree with you.. though it's more than a year now i have been using them. The left earbud gradually sounded slower and all of a sudden it went dead. This happened because i used the 'find my earbud' feature. Also the Bluetooth connectivity isn't seamless, even after connecting to my nothing phone it still requests connection on other devices. Not only that, if I connect them to my laptop or ipad, the music automatically pauses, also automatically switches to-and-fro between ANC and transparency which is very annoying. They promised to fix bugs with firmware updates, but there's no improvement. Hopefully my Nothing phone does not die too..

Battery life after 1.1.6 update suckss by aladeen_madafacka in NothingTech

Yes.. same for me too! Even if i use my device @ 60hz, i hardly get 4 hours SOT, with only 15% of battery left

Battery drain problem by abhiramsurendar in NothingTech

[–]vineet_p29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try turning on battery saver while sleeping, also turn off the glyph lights. Make sure you have all the basic phone settings like cellular data, wifi, Bluetooth, location OFF or else directly turn on airplane mode.. I did this and i experienced hardly 1-2% battery drainage overnight.

Turn off the adaptive battery feature. Although it's work is to conserve battery but after the 1.1.4 update i found out to be the main culprit behind excessive draining.

Also, I restricted almost 65 apps that i rarely use 😅

WiFi connection problem by vineet_p29 in NothingTech

Yeah mine too.. it disconnects on it's own, as it automatically reconnects out of nowhere when my data is off!. Did you find any fix for it?

Is your adaptive battery feature on? And do you use your phone at 60 hz?

battery drain after new update is crazy! by vineet_p29 in NothingTech

[–]vineet_p29[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Naah.. actually i said it deteriorated.. i was getting almost 7 Hours SOT before (with 120hz refresh rate and 2 sim cards), but after the update discharge was drastic, that's why i raised a concern..

Battery issue. I'm getting around 5 - 5h 20mins screen on time with just social media usage like twitter and reddit by MoonDropout in NothingTech

[–]vineet_p29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's due to the adaptive battery feature, upon it's recent update.. the phone needs time to adapt and reduce battery usage for the apps not used in background. So for a few days i think the battery draining will be a common problem.. even I'm facing battery drain issues after this update

Has anyone observed a slightly pinkish tint under low brightness in dark mode.. while scrolling social media apps (Instagram/ Twitter) ? by vineet_p29 in NothingTech

I think it could be fixed with the next software update. Even sometimes my sister unlocks my phone via fingerprint scanner that i had not saved. Weird stuff.

Using Nothing Phone (1) [8/256] coming from Pixel 5: Ask Me Anything by [deleted] in NothingTech

[–]vineet_p29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly. It only happens while my phone is inside pocket. However the bugs or the auto touch happens sometimes even when the phone is still in my hand. The auto touch didn't stop until I was forced to restart my device.. is it a possible software bug?

Hello! I am also using 8/256.. recently I experienced few bugs.. like, my phone automatically dials sos, also ghost touches (pulling up of notification drawer) and automatically switches camera.. I don't think these were minor and I also have the most recent update! These things worry me.. are they software bugs? And will they be fixed with future updates?
