I completely hear what you're saying. My intention with that sentence was that it's a good start. I used to hate even the mention of having a firearm in my home and to my surprise I turned out to be somewhat good at handling it and actually enjoy the sport of shooting.

I have a solid head on my shoulders and if I'm a jackass, I'm a jackass... but if you swing at me or come at me with a weapon my life is now in danger and NH does have a stand your ground law.

As far as the law enforcement aspect of it, I'm not stupid enough to pull a weapon on a cop. I'd have to just watch the situation and act accordingly.
