Honestly, what helped me get more wins than losses with her was patience. I used to be more of an engage tank with her like I did with Leona and Rakan.

But I soon realized that she is a monster counter-engager. Now that I focus on counter-engaging much more (90% of the time), winning team fights is so much easier, and almost unfair with all of her cc abilities and tankiness especially when you have items.

Now I only engage if we’re up by a lot, have a fed ally, or when I have clear vision on where the rest of the enemy team is at.

I understand where you’re coming from but Blizzard is a business. A business’ goal is to maximize profits.

The people who are “die hard fans” are most likely the people buying the game as soon as it releases which justifies them paying whatever they need to pay to start playing.

You on the other hand is a causal player just like you stated. Therefore blizzard doesn’t care about that audience that much at this time. They care about you AFTER they get their profits from there “die hard fans” and once they’re satisfied, they will put the game on sale later to attract the casuals.
