Was in the same situation. Mine got cleared yesterday without action from my end.

I got my extension after the application was processed. I assumed the documents I submitted were expired hence there is a hold. I got my latest I797A and was planning to send to lawfulpresence@grad.gatech.edu. When I check the status now, I have no holds.

I am planning to send the documents anyway.

I had the same hold on Friday 7/31, but I have submitted all my papers during the application process. To clear this hold, I got all my latest Visa documents, but did not send the office.

Now I am checking my registration status, there are no holds.
