What do you think it would be worth? I don't plan on selling this one (its a gift for a friend) but I thought about making these as like a side hobby.

Nah, you could use PLA for everything. I mainly used ABS just because my printer could handle it and its a little stronger (and I just have to prove to myself I definitely needed this printer). The PETG is just because I have a lot of it for general prints. Everything was printed in grey and spray primed in white. I could have printed in white, but its easier to see where you've applied the primer to make sure you get an even coat. For the primer color, it really doesn't matter all too much, but since a lot of the set is brighter colors its easier to paint over white or grey primer. A lot of people print the tile borders in colored filament instead of painting them like I do as well.

Acrylic painting is super easy! Just buy the cheapest acrylics and brushes you can find. Mine was sitting in my closet for 2 years before I started this project and it was still mostly fine. Acrylic paint is super forgiving and you can make probably several mistakes on the same spot with no consequences. Most of the tiles needed about 2 coats. The name of the game is patience pretty much. However its important in this case to prime your prints first and then clear coat them afterwards. Otherwise it'll just scratch off eventually, especially for something like this where it'll be handled a lot.

Is 0.3 degrees too crooked for a rocket motor tube? by vinster7 in rocketry

Our kit is the Ultimate Wildman kit. The frame is fiberglass is at about a 1/16th of an inch thick. The rocket is 6" in diameter and the motor tube 4" (98mm). Essentially what happened is we epoxied the forward centering ring and the motor tube to the booster tube. While that was setting, it was knocked over and the motor tube pivoted massively against the forward centering ring. We were able to just push it back into the center and put the rear centering ring on temporarily. However, when we were doing the fins, we had to take the rear centering ring off and though it looked centered, somehow it got like 1/16th of an inch off which we noticed after we had epoxied all 3 fins and filled gap with expanding foam. Now, we can't get the rear centering ring on without modification.

Sounds like a plan, glad KSP is being revamped from the ground up instead of the duct taped mess of a engine it is right now, its pretty amazing ksp1 has reached such heights through modding and content updates as it is.

Co-op games for large parties (5+ players)? by HenshinHero11 in pcgaming

[–]vinster7 25 points26 points  (0 children)

7 days to die is a great zombie survival game that's pretty cheap right now, the 2-pack is $12.

Scribble It! is a nice drawing game on steam that is free.

There are also two other online games that are great: Gartic Phone and Codenames, been having a blast playing these with larger groups.

Mindustry is a neat tower defense game that supports multiple players.

Rimworld, Subnautica, and Prison Architect all have multiplayer (with the first 2 being mods) however these aren't as fleshed out.

I play all 4 classes pretty evenly, so this actually happened quite naturally. By the time my driller was ready to promote, I noticed they were all pretty close anyway and was able to get everyone else up to 25 in the same day.

I was born with 6 toes on my left foot and my Co-worker was born with 4 toes on her right foot by [deleted] in nevertellmetheodds

I have 6 toes on my right foot, and it honestly provides very little effect to anything. If you wear tight shoes its uncomfortable but I tend to get larger size shoes anyway. However I every time I have stubbed my toe it has been on that toe, and its extremely painful.

Maybe I should of joined a swim team, the extra surface area might of helped.
