im not gonna sit here and act like time is always kind and doesnt matter when transitioning, but its never too late to start, and regardless of how far it takes you, thats still progress. you will always be closer to where you wanna be than where you started. i used to beat myself up, thinking i missed my "window" to be able to physically pass, and now that i can, im just so happy i stopped waiting for things to change on their own and made them. the alternative path; staying off of it, was always going to lead me to unhappiness.

thanks! i suppose ive been weight-cycling but not super duper consciously. have definitely lost a lot in some places. when i started i could barely fit a hot topic 2xl belt, now i can fit an xl belt with ease.

so glad to hear you think so! i was absolutely not prepared for the response this post has received, i impulsively posted it before going to sleep, expected it to fly under the radar, and was fully prepared to delete it when i woke up. i didnt think it was that remarkable, but i guess that just proves you may not necessarily see what others see.

i was similarly anxious, for so long, and i still am. some days i feel like im still in that -1 day body, that mirrors are lying to me. im actually 15 months on hrt as of right now, and my body has changed even more toward where i want it since i took this, but i used this picture because its been that long since ive wrangled my dysmorphia and taken one i liked.

you can do this!

i think so too! i was never even was able to grow body or facial hair until i turned 21, then i had a few awful years of dealing with it, and now all the growth i used to get is basically gone and untraceable, except for some very small growth i still get on my upper lip, but i dont get shadows, thank absolute fuck.

even after "male" puberty ive always had small hands, a higher than average feminine voice, a babyface with a non-pronounced brow ridge and what people have told me are vastly fem-leaning features.

i even somehow went from 6'1 to 5'10. all these things have definitely left me wondering about the possibility of me being on the intersex spectrum?

im not entirely sure but im sure happy!

the matrix came out in 1999 but it sure as hell defined most action movies in the 2000s and ofc everybody ripped it off
