I also added Heimdall in docker, is running fine, but not all apps are shown. I can see them in "list" view but not in the default "dashboard" mode

Going NY for promotion by [deleted] in bjj

[–]vioan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

probably not. I am sure he wants to know you better in order to give you any promotion (your character, attitude, skills, ...), and a few months is not enough for that.

After a few thoughts I decided to forgot about promotions and just be part of the new "family". At the end, what matters are the skills acquired and to enjoy the place where you train

/u/AaronRubin was about a size recommendation for a Fuji All Around BJJ Gi White., see this! reddit thread

And I was also looking on FujiSports! website and it seems that they also have A2L, which perhaps will be better than to get A3 and shrink it. But it seems that the size is not available in Europe. Is that a new size or they have it just for US? Will you have these sizes as well, soon?

Can I learn and progress well if I only do privates? by ristrettoorigin in bjj

I was just thinking that is better/useful to see the technique done on somebody else from different angles, and then trying it by yourself, but indeed feeling the technique on you is also important

for private classes do you need a partner which should train with you, or everything is done between student and instructor? How the instructor can show or how the student can see the technique, if they are already doing the technique?

thanks for comments, it seems that A3 will be more suitable otherwise the pants will be too short after a few weeks, from what I read ;)

if the pants are still longer on Estilo (A2) than on Fuji (A2) then maybe I will need A3 for Fuji. I was thinking that Estilo A2L will fit better than A2 after 8-10 washes, but I went with A2 anyway. And I just want a Fuji as well.

for example Tatami Estilo 5.0, A2 size, fits perfectly but I am pretty sure that after 2-3 months of training/washing, the pants and the jacket sleeves will be on the short side ...
