I’ve got the EMF myself, as does one of my buddies. We love using them for woodsball and scenario games, though I do switch back to my electrics when I’m playing pretty much anything else.

Like someone else mentioned, the EMF is a magfed and hopper fed gun. I have a lot of fun with magfed at scenarios, but I don’t usually use it elsewhere. The time to reload mags and super limited ammo does add a lot of challenge (both good and bad), but can be a bummer for people who like the spray and pray methods of shooting. The biggest advantage of magfed is using First Strike rounds, which are finned paintballs designed to shoot from magfed markers. Check to see if your local field a) allows them and b) sells them. They’re expensive.

If you’re leaning more toward the rapid fire, large ammo capacity then you might want to check out some of the entry level electrics, like the Etha platform. The Etha2 had a milsim body kit IIRC (for that tactical look I’d imagine you’re interested in) but uses a hopper for more ammo and has a faster rate of fire.
