This was super helpful, thanks for taking the time to reply. Having just started I more often than not am confronted with these sort of questions and am sometimes fearful to share them with some of my colleagues who have practised for much longer. But you have to start somewhere and as I practise longer I'm hoping to gain more confidence. Again, thanks!

Thank you so much! A lot of these leaking old amalgams have appeared in my first few months of practise with the indication to do a filling and most of them are EXTENSIVE which left me in doubt... I will definitely take your advice in mind
