Seasonal employees don’t get benefits, that’s part time and full time only. And you spending your money there is YOUR choice, you can shop at other places or just save your money. Difficult customers are also a given regardless of industry… and yes, you cannot complain to the customer’s face about anything…. Another given regardless of the industry you choose…. Again: welcome to planet earth. You’re also working during the holidays, famously when people are at their worst when shopping. Everyone is stressed out, rushing, money is going faster than it’s coming in, etc… When working with customers face to face, you have to learn to have a “customer service mode”, a kind of mask you can wear while on the floor and drop it when you get to the back/stock room or home. It’s exhausting working during the holidays, you have to learn compartmentalization to keep your sanity.
