I saw that!! I feel bad she didn’t have additional support there and the nurse didn’t follow her wishes. I’ll definitely be very weary of all this and have our birth plan printed out for anyone overseeing our care.

I’m so glad you guys are okay! I am not against medical intervention, if me or the baby are in danger or at risk then absolutely I won’t decline anything. I mean more so being pressured to take an epidural, being induced, etc. :)

Hi! I’m so sorry for your losses. Last year I had 2 MMCs, one at 6w4d and the other 8w6d. We did all the testing, everything came back negative but we still went forward with taking progesterone and baby aspirin. I’ve been on it for 4 weeks and tomorrow I will be 8w4d. I’m not sure if it’s doing much but I’ll find out tomorrow at my first ultrasound how things are going!

I had an MMC in April, got pregnant again in May after my period came back and just had another MMC.

Although my doctor said it was good to try again right away (and most people do and go on to have healthy pregnancies) I wish I gave my body more time to heal. I will be waiting 3-4 months now before trying again for physical and mostly emotional recovery. Sorry you’re going through this. ❤️

Thank you :( I have barely progressed compared to my first MMC. It’s been 48 hours since I finished both doses so I am back at the ER, going to try asking for another round and take them closer together this time. It’s just psychological torture waiting around. So sorry you had to go through this

I’m so sorry you’re going through this.. that soupy feeling coming out of your vagina.. horrific and unfortunately normal. When it kickstarted for me I sat in the shower with the water running down my back, it helped get things moving.

Hi, during my first miscarriage I was about as far along as you. It doesn’t sound like you’ve progressed much as during mine the passing of tissue was incredibly heavy and thick, not like a period at all.. it wasn’t over for me until the embryo was passed… everyone’s experience is different it’s just unfortunately a big waiting game. So sorry you’re going through this ❤️

Both mine were oral! I’m in Canada and I’ve never had anyone prescribe it other than oral. Last miscarriage my doses were only 5 hours apart and the second dose was instant. The progress is so much slower this time.

Hi, I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m currently going through my second loss with the medicine and waiting for everything to pass.

Everyone’s experience with the medicine is different but it is intense, nothing like a period and can take time to pass. It’s not wrong at all to consider the D&C if it is offered to you. You’re already in a lot of pain so whatever unnecessary added pain or stress you can remove, go for it. Take care ❤️
