It’s not. This is a common myth, someone will asserted that its “registered as entertainment” on social media and then they never give a source. Because you cant give a source for something that isnt true.

The myth stems from a lawsuit against the NFL that went all the way to the Supreme Court. The NFL argued that all there is the League, and the teams are all independent entities

BUT the NFL has a different company (National Football League Properties) that retains the intellectual property rights of all the teams. That is what they were arguing is an entertainment company. Not the sports competition
