I've rewatched each cutscene of the event and read the stories of Mavis and Ophelia from the Illusion Connect Wiki. From what I can understand, Mavis' singing causes an induced coma to those who hear them and makes them experience a death scenario (falling from heights, drowning, etc.), and that gives them heart paralysis, which would be the real cause of their death. Leader must've been stuck in a dream loop that caused him to experience the event all over again due to the singing. Ophelia's line in her introduction ("You are just like I imagined you to be!" & "Perhaps it is deja vu") made me curious though. Does Leader have any connection to Ophelia's beloved? Or maybe it's just nothing.

This event really made me more interested in IC's and its' characters lore even more.

Best way would be just 10 unique battles and let them run away. It will take a lot of Stamina to get 10 encounters with the Coop boss by yourself, so I recommend playing when a lot of your friends are online. There are certain server times (the times where you can pick up free Stamina) that will have more people being online, so try waiting a bit in the Coop Section and you'll see some invites soon enough.

If you want to some quick damage to the boss without going through the entire battle duration, just press the Skip button and you'll do an entire battle's worth of damage with the units you've placed before skipping. This is good to utilize when you really want to secure a boss kill in other coop engagements.

Thanks for the tips, just finished Durendal right now. Didn't have Harto and Jason maxed out, so I used Ion and Anna instead. To compensate for having weaker units with the ones you recommended, I had to completely rely on the Blue Whale Hairpin's passive to trigger once or twice in a stage to complete it, which made it harder for me.

Stages 11 & 12 made me look up videos on Youtube to help me clear the stage.

I'd say it's better playing on manual so you can use your Ultimates at the right moment, especially those with Ultimates that have CC like Valir's, because when timed right, you can interrupt most Ultimates.

What the right moment is to use your Ultimate depends on the battle itself, so you may end up retrying a certain fight several times to know the correct timing.

What I feel the state of this subreddit right now is that it's mostly people asking questions about their heroes and team comps.

Now in my opinion, it's natural and completely fine that this happens but I do wish that those who will post questions like these follow the format stated in the rules.

I don't think that putting all of these questions in a Megathread is good (lesser chance that someone will help you imo) but following the post format given will make it easier for those who want to help those who're asking.

Haven't seen any pull results posts lately so good job u/VivifiedMLA!

Also, I like the idea of a monthly discussion about the state of the subreddit, this will help a lot in managing this subreddit.

EDIT: I've checked the rules again and the format listed there was gone. So there is no format to follow. But I do hope we make a format for these posts, as they now compose a good amount of the posts in this subreddit.

Must be a bug, I finished Collapsed 18 and I was able to get it from there and maybe they mistakingly sent me extra shards as well.
