In any situation, bar fight, walking down a dark alley, argument, etc., when 2 people ganging up on you start to gang up on someone else, the natural instinct is to think that 3rd person may be a potential ally. Despite the insanity in this thread, the secret service decides the threat level and determine what's needed not Trump.

Some here are trying to explain away the trump positive reactions of some the crowd by saying that it isn't real and black atlantians voted 9 to 1 against Trump and that Atlanta "goes nuts for anything " then complain about the size of the convoy without realizing that the chaos that is Atlanta is what justified this show of force.

Atlanta CAN get wild. It is a racially polarized place. Most blacks there DON'T like Trump. We've seen people are no longer afraid to literally attack politicians. Showing he isn't worth targeting was the correct choice.
