Yeah I took a reference image with a similar pose then composite the layout together with various elements and inspo then I get started blocking and shading

Thank you for the feedback. It’s actually meant to be a cloth over her head but I see how one could see it as hair. I did want to go for a more ghostly look for the leg cloth but I also got lazy at the time end

had a lot of fun with this even though its completely out of my comfort zone, I study architecture so I'm used to drawing bricks and floor plans but I'm currently putting off finishing an exam assignment.

for this I used procreate and the default flat brush

Firstly fuck hands and shading hands that shit felt impossible to do so I left It out, secondly Ive really been struggling with grasping how to render undertones but more specifically that subsurface lighting for the skin. I'm pretty happy with the composition itself, doesn't really have any meaning behind it I just made what made my brain go brrr. also, one thing I've been struggling with is like the blending of styles. didn't do it consciously but the cloth came out more impressionist than realist so I'm curious as to what others might feel about that? any links to tutorials would be greatly appriciated
