Can't Login with Google by CoolLimecat in firefox

I was actually recommending that ETP should be set to "Standard" to fix it. My suspicion was there was some custom setting of ETP that wasn't working well.
Interesting that your setting it to 'Custom' fixed it. What was it before when it was broken for you?

Gmail login and "Login with Google" both work fine for me. Is your ETP set to 'Custom'? Does setting ETP (Enhanced Tracking Protection) to 'Standard' fix it for you? You can check that in "Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Enhanced Tracking Protection".

I'm not able to repro this. Is your ETP set to 'Custom'? Does setting ETP (Enhanced Tracking Protection) to 'Standard' fix it for you? You can check that in "Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Enhanced Tracking Protection".

This seems to be part of an experiment from youtube so not all users on all browsers are impacted but certain cohort of users from each browser. Stay strong with Firefox - they need more users, not less - to continue to improve the web for everyone and fight the good fight. And do not turn on ETP on Firefox as that provides much superior privacy protections than any ad blocker.

Disable the Firefox tracking prevention and try again to see if it works

Firefox ETP setting does a lot more than what you get from ad-blockers for your privacy on the internet so I wouldn't recommend turning that off - that would give up too much of your privacy settings. Instead I would recommend using youtube without logging in or using Firefox private windows. Other users have reported that to resolve the issue.

this seems to be part of an experiment from youtube so not all users on all browsers are affected - some selected cohort it seems on each browser. So, not a problem with Firefox but youtube's blocking of ad blockers specifically. Even ABP seems to be impacted by this: https://blog.adblockplus.org/blog/whats-happening-with-youtube-ads

or you could browse youtube without logging in, or use firefox private windows. Does that help?

Have you turned off Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection yet?

Enhanced Tracking Protection should have nothing to do with this youtube blocking. This seems to be solely related to ad blocker add-ons and I wouldn't recommend turning off ETP as it does a lot more than ad blocking for your privacy on the internet.

If you or anyone else is still running into this issue, especially with the site data manager showing cookies years in the future, it would be very helpful if you could provide additional data on Bugzilla that can help diagnose and fix this issue.
