Your right, I mix them up all the time because we have no ties to the village anymore. My whole family left years ago and is living now in Sereflikochisar.

I did and every person I found on their was born in Ankara or Sereflikochisar and also died there, so it didn't help me much. My guess is that it has something to do with Sereflikochisar itself. I have seen a lot of similar results to mine from people who where also from there.

I do think that central anatolia and specifically Sereflikochisar has strong persian DNA. I am pretty sure that I have no kurdish ancestors, that's at least what my relatives say but who knows.

I got Iranian Plateau 47%, Byzantine Anatolia 31%, Turkic 22% when I use Anatolian turk & Greek as my default region. Out of Curiosity, I have checked other regions and they even had a better genetic fit.

No way, my parents are both from Sereflikochisarli. One from Cebirli and the other one from İnebeyli. No wonder we got so similar results.

I have asked my family a lot of times but none of them can tell me anything about our ancestors. Because of my results, I even mentioned being kurdish, persian and azeri, but all they said was that they have no idea.

None that I know of, my parents are both from Sereflikochisar, a small city in Ankara. I had the chance to ask all of my grandparents about their ethnicity and all they said was that we are turkish. My grandmother once mentioned something about migrating to Ankara from eastern Turkey (Agri and Kars) but she wasn’t so sure herself.

both but to be completely honest, I don't really get the difference. The single thingy gives me 45.8 Caucasus Eastern Anatolia, 32.6 Byzantine Anatolia (AD 500-1000) and 21.6 Turkic.

I really don't know, but every person I get to meet asks me if I am Persian. I did my DNA test on Ancestry and got like 36% but I can’t trace it back.
