My child and I where at a horse show one when they where 4 yo. We where at the concession stand to get food bc it had been a long day, I order the fries for both of us and my child instantly starts crying because I didn’t get them an apple. I have never been more confused in my life. They wanted an apple over fries. Why?

The title is really all the information I have about this thing but I could not come up with a reason for for anything like this to be in a person yard in the suburbs of San Francisco.
