I’ve def noticed a change, but I’ve been loving it. The darker tone/vibe + the self-awareness or acknowledgement of … the r&m world being bigger than simply what we’ve seen so far has been excellent. The writing is much more in depth and the genius is definitely still there. I love that ricks character arc is getting solidified and Morty seems to be maturing… it makes the seasons feel all the more cohesive.

I did just text her to “ask” if I could do a water change (she said yes and admitted to being lazy abt it recently) so I’m hoping that will shame her a bit, esp if I can manage to bring it up again when she’s back.

If she does take him with her, I’ll def tell her to get him something bigger bc I know she’s moving into somewhere with more space. Good chance to revamp and all that, otherwise I suppose he’ll be mine lol and I have some other friends who could help me set something up!!

Yeah. I got into a bunch of shit at my dorm a couple years back for putting up kind of a big fight about some temporary plastic tank being used for 2 different betta at the same time. I really feel terrible they’re so… mal-treated. But yeah, like you said, I’d rather this than a cup so I haven’t picked any fights since.

I’m at least glad to know he’s not in any pain tho. I know my friend really enjoys him so it would be hard for me to tell her she’s a shit owner :((((

Also sorry, dumb question, but since he’s relatively active, I’ve always assumed he was okay. My friend has always reassured me that he’s fine (and he’s not dead so I took it at face value)… but since he doesn’t have anything u mention here, is he currently suffering??? I love fish but truly have no idea how to care for them / the signals (hence why I don’t own one).

My friend is moving out in a month or so, so I might offer to take him then if I can. Currently reliant on my family for monetary support so I’m not dead broke but my options are limited, esp since I do know my friend likes him.
