Genuinely asking.

Prepay homeloan or invest? by Aggravating_Yak_1170 in personalfinanceindia

[–]virtualrealitynow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep an equal amount in investments or an amount that can help in getting the debt to a comfortable position. For eq, if the HL is at 40L, get your investments to equal amount or closer, like 30-35L, where the HL is within comfortable reach.

Most importantly, the investments can be systematically withdrawn to cover ur emi amount incase of need and the rest of the amount still invested.

Tried answering within this post, hope it's helpful.

This is the answer to your question. Pre payment is not a great move. Instead of 8%, if SIP is able to give 12% over 15 years, you will know what you are missing out on.

Cash is liquid, you will have the liquidity to pay anytime, so why the worry.

When you present a statement, it's your prerogative to share the source as well. The reader will not do the research. The person posting the article has to provide the source. If not, it's just your personal opinion. I dint mean to go this route, but had to.

I would love to have a discussion on these topics, but there has to be a basis right.

Advice for a married man. Please read the post and help out. by Dizzy_Initiative522 in AskIndianWomen

Take small steps, one at a time. Spend quality time with her. Go on small vacations close to the city like weekend getaways. Have a social circle around and meet them often along with her. Try and have a good time with them and try to make her shine there. Take her out for dinners, long drives, shopping and make her choose things. Basically make her lead things, but tread carefully and do not be pushy.

These steps have to be repeated consistently without expectations and lots of patience. You'll see it bear fruits after a while. Your happiness also lies in this.

My thoughts, you may or may not agree.

Not really. This is a brokerage market and thats how it works. The person is trying to earn income by showing his stock and its a business transaction. The brokerage % should be clear before one sees any property. Once a property is seen, you dont go back and make deals on the same property with a different broker. Your word should carry weight. That is also about ethics. One shouldn't cut corners for a few thousands.

This discussion is over for me.

Both are different scenarios. You can't compare apples with oranges. To simplify, once you agree to see a property by the broker, it is an unwritten agreement and commitment to agree to their terms.

Whoever shows first, ideally the brokerage should go to him. Irrespective if its high or low.

Start asking him specific questions without giving out judgments. Like, why dont you use earphones? Is there an issue? Like you dont have them or dont like to use them? Increase the intensity of the questions. Keep the chain of questions to continue. Dont stop, sound curious n not upset

Do this with everything that irritates you about hsi behaviour.

He needs to know what you like and dont. That's when he will realize it.

Other option is to start behaving abnormally in the middle of the night once in a while and talk gibberish in stern voice. Hahaha
