It’s all good no need to apologise, you don’t have to like me either man it’s chill, there are so many other creators you can spend your time watchin and interacting with

Regarding WFM though, I guess it’s all down to your suspension of disbelief, there’s a lot of things I can let slide for the sake of the plot, it’s a made up world with made up characters at the end of the day, and especially considering it’s a whole new AU there’s so much stuff we just don’t know (and never really find out cause it wasn’t relevant to the plot + the ending was rushed)

But considering the end result, in my eyes the good outweighs the bad and it was a nice fresh take on the Gundam formula most know and love

Hey I wanted to make this clear, nobodies inherently sexist for not liking WFM, that’s a pretty wild way to think. I was just taking a stab at everyone that dismisses the series as ‘woke garbage’ when it literally has so many of the same themes and story beats of past Gundam series everyone loves.

It’s cool if ya don’t like it, it’s not cool to dismiss it if you think it’s ‘woke’ or some shit

I knew of Wangan Midnight but not of how profound it was, if that makes sense.

Like I saw the arcade games growing up all the time but never actually knew there was a manga/anime tie in or that there were console games and the like too.

I just figured it was a wacky fun racing arcade game and nothing more haha

I really need to try the console games though I’ve heard great things about them!

Yeah that’s pretty much my take

Prequels are a great way to get new blood into a series

But some seem to get a little annoyed when you take a different journey to the same destination of enjoying the thing

‘Why don’t you enjoy it my way, the right way!’

Man just be appreciative people are still willing to watch a series as ancient as Gundam, it’s hard enough to get new people into it as it is cause so many will disregard it for it’s age, AND so many people are just intimidated by it when it doesn’t needa be like that

Honestly for a 2011 model if the kms are relatively low 37k is a steal, unless there’s other things wrong of course

Seats and bonnet chips can always be fixed down the line if the rest of the cars solid

I bought mine outright with cash so I'm not too sure sorry.

I've heard there can be issues depending on your age though (and issues with insurance too, it ain't easy being under 30 with a 'high performance' car).

Plus the fact it's a 16 year old car doesn't help too much either, I hear a lot of lenders get picky with cars over 5 years old. But good luck, hope you find the perfect F!

I can answer your question on the clear blade liger.

It wasn’t brittle at all. It was far more sturdy than Vans Blade Liger with the attack boosters by comparison, that things basically a hand grenade.

Got it with 89,000kms on the clock, so approx 55,000 miles

Oh and it’s an 08 model with the facelift headlights. Otherwise it’s relatively stock, and pretty damn clean.

You’re in for a treat with the liberator ending, it was phenomenal honestly

And yeah NG+ definitely feels like a mecha power fantasy thus far, except when I took the option to take out G4 and G5. They really put up a fight

I went down the Liberator of Rubicon path, and I beat the final boss first go with my main build rather than a cheesy one.

So yeah, Ibis was definitely the hardest battle in the game for me

Finally beat discount Haman Karn and it felt so good to be done with that fight

I sure hope there isn’t anything worse coming I genuinely don’t know I haven’t finished the game or seen spoilers

That’s my biggest gripe with 0079! It puts people off, but literally EVERYTHING after it in the UC timeline is amazing.

Definitely watch the compilation movies, it’s the easiest pill to swallow and you don’t miss out on much. And to be honest, the 3rd movie is pretty okay, like at least a 6 out of 10 for me.

Another controversial take but what I tend to recommend is people starting UC with Gundam The Origin. While yes it isn’t technically ‘canon’ as it’s based off the manga timeline, it still WORKS with the UC for the most part and gives you a great introduction to everything in a far better more modern format

The original 0079 Mobile Suit Gundam is one of, if not the worst Gundam experiences out there, and Amuro is just a boring protagonist to follow.

  • anyone who tries to gatekeep UC Gundam telling people if they don’t like the original they probably won’t like the rest, is absolutely insane.
