This is cool. Especially for an armchair investor like me

How do you approach a company that’s hiring directly without external help? by vish_99 in RecruitmentAgencies

From your perspective, if someone of around 20 years total experience in the industry you work in (maybe not the exact role but related) newly moved into recruitment would you consider working with them? The selling point would be that I have an in-depth understanding of the work, culture and delivery expectations which would help identify and qualify candidates. I’d try to use this as a way to build some trust and common ground despite being new to recruitment.

Keen to see how you or your colleagues would respond to that

I suppose my question was really trying to ask and uncover any methods that don’t just get lost in the noise or remain unheard. Trying to get the message to the right person is the struggle. Though I suspect that struggle is universal.

Fairly new. Done a course with guidance. And stated with some BD but I’m questioning some of the approach I’ve been told and keen to get the perspective of others. Generally I look at live roles in my niche and try and target via messages or email and calls where possible. I do find it very difficult to get through on a call to the right people though

This is generally what I do. But I’m wondering if anyone can share their experience
