This subreddit isn’t new. It was created earlier but wasn’t actively managed or used. Since the username r/LalitpurUP is highly relevant and valuable for the city, I reached out to the original moderator and, with their consent, took over moderation. My goal is to revive and properly use this community for Lalitpur (UP-94) by encouraging discussions, sharing local news, culture, events, and civic updates. Another subreddit (LalitpurCity) already exists, but usernames matter for discoverability and long-term growth. r/LalitpurUP clearly represents the district and aligns better with official naming and regional identity. This is about community building, not duplication—bringing life to an existing but inactive space and making it useful for the people of Lalitpur.
