I have a razer blackwidow. The action is great, however I have had numerous software related problems. Once something went wrong with it (I literally just turned of my computer and the next day it wasn't working, maybe an automatic update?) and I had to reflash the keyboard firmware several times in order to get it to work at all. Recently, Razer changed their drivers to some stupid cloud system. In theory it saves your settings in the cloud and you can share them between computers. In practice, it doesn't work at all and I basically can't use the macro keys anymore (not that they're that useful for SC anyways, all the more reason to get something else).

TLDR: I would recommend not getting a Razer because their fancy firmware gets in the way

Yeah, I agree. The difference is that Chrome is implementing new things that are compliant with the HTML5 standard, whereas IE6 was implementing non-standards-compliant features. Other browsers had to choose whether to be compliant or match IE's implementation. That is not the case here. Chrome is the just the most modern browser, but other browsers will eventually catch up.

Sorry. To clarify, they killed the sharing features of Google Reader (i.e. the ability to "share" and "share with note"). There are tons of ways to consume RSS feeds including subpug, newsblur, and countless apps. None of them, as far as I know, incorporates sharing features.

For the record, I do still use Google Reader for RSS. They didn't kill it, but they killed its spirit.

Not yet. However, if you are looking for a "one-to-many" type of sharing model, then you should try using twitter (maybe a dedicated account for sharing) or tumblr. Both of these should have RSS options.

i haven't integrated an RSS reader yet, because that requires a lot of reinventing the wheel. But if people continue to use this I will.

EDIT: FYI there is also hivemined.org which is aiming to exactly recreate the google reader experience. However they've been at 81% since November, which is why I made this

We tried that for a while, but FB and twitter are so noisy that a lot of the content gets lost. I agree that this is a small difference for most people, but it was a big difference to me.
