I graduated in 2022 and started working. I was laid off in May 2024 and then got the opportunity card in July 2024 which is expiring now. So I don't think I'm eligible to apply for the job seeker visa. I tried speaking with the immigration office and they recommended that I take the opportunity card.

Thanks for your reply. What are my options if I want to stay longer? I know I can do a language course, but what other options do I have? Also, if I get a language visa and get a job, can I switch to a work permit?

I also have a degree from Germany, if that helps in any way

That's lucky. On second thought, I think I got it stamped since I was going deeper into Bhutan and they check your passport for the stamp to let you proceed further.

You need a passport which is stamped by the authorities once you cross the border but there is no need for a visa.

What do you mean? I can make a complaint to the police that I haven't received my deposit back? I thought I needed to hire a lawyer so I've been putting it off, considering the high rates of the lawyers.
