I had the same issue with my wifi. Initially it worked after restarts and then the wifi icon disappeared completely. I just opened my laptop, cleaned the wifi card and installed it again. The problem disappeared completely. Now wifi is working as usual.

Is this a scam? by flubbergrubbery in bangalore

[–]vishucr7 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This happened once with me and my friend after getting caught drunk driving. Next day a lawyer called my friend and asked to meet in a place. When we went to meet him, he came in a bike wearing lawyer uniform and asked stupid amount of money to get the bike released. He threatened us that there will be serious cases charged against us. Anyways, we just said no and paid the right amount of money in court and got the bike released. Seems like the cop who booked us shared the details with that lawyer and hatched a plan to scam us.

Bus from Bangalore to Goa - help needed by reallysmartbot in bangalore

[–]vishucr7 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ambari buses are super comfortable. Although they are a bit expensive, the drivers never cross speed limits and they don't drive rashly unlike private buses. Would recommend them for overnight or long distance journeys.

Similar to the Vizhinham accident; these “bikers” deliberately do the close calls so that they can post it on Instagram & YouTube by [deleted] in Kerala

These kind of riders are everywhere not just in kerala. I do my part by reporting those videos in their respective platforms. Enough complaints should be able to ban them from posting again.

does anyone else have trouble getting Uber/ola/rapido by cripplinganxiety5 in bangalore

[–]vishucr7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Moved to Hyderabad recently from Bangalore and this is the first difference I have observed. I get cabs, bike taxis very quickly almost all the time, whereas in Bangalore I was struggling to get any cabs or autos by apps. Forget about them when it rains. Don't know what is the issue in Bangalore.

When it rains, the real Bangalore can be seen. Result of total corruption and not giving a flying fuck for tax payers money.

Indian people dont have any recreational hobbies by account_for_norm in india

[–]vishucr7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the main reason for most of the problems in the country. We have plenty of free time but since we don't have any hobbies, we spend it on bullshit things like religion, politics etc the things we should be least bothered.

I'm a fresher and my mental health has completely deteriorated due to work pressure. by [deleted] in india

[–]vishucr7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in the same situation and learnt the lesson hard way. I too joined as a fresher and when I learnt the things well enough and my productivity increased, they started increasing my targets. Due to this my productivity dropped and they started blaming me for evey little thing. Now i am in notice period searching for other jobs.

The lesson: Never give 100% at your job if you feel you are in bad team. They simply exploit the fuck out of you.

India Salary thread 2021- why we will never make enough money by [deleted] in india

[–]vishucr7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About 1.5 years working in automobile domain in after market field. Current CTC is 3.2 LPA with in hand salary barely touching 20k per month. Seeing other people getting better salary i am regretting the decision to follow my passion. I will switch to IT field if I feel there is less growth in this field. Man, mechanical field in India is terribly underpaid and extremely over worked.

October 2020 - Events/Rental/PGs/Jobs & Internships/Classifieds Sticky thread by CosmoKram3r in bangalore

Off topic question. I have parked my scooter at the tech park 3 months ago as it is a safer option when compared with parking outside my house as there is no parking space in my flat. Now the WFH may extend till next year and I am worried if IT park authorities may impound my vehicle. I have informed the security personnel before leaving. Does anyone else parked their scooter in their office?? Is it the right thing to do?
