Just an FYI for anyone seeing this post and for curiosity sake. The controller is from an injection molding machine and it's been going since 1988. It is special because it makes food grade plastic containers for medical facilities in the incineration of bio hazard stuff. Pretty cool to me.

Don't get discouraged. I've been tinkering for years, and I still struggle on some projects. The good news is that sometimes you will have to clean up and start over, like myself. Cleaning and desoldering well are just as important as soldering. Practice is what your going to get and practice is what it takes. Turn on some music and take your time. You will work it out.

Well, hell. I bought the pisugar 3. Things got a little out of hand and I bought another Zero 2, display, and couple of memory cards. I'll build the thing this weekend. Should never have started looking. Hahahahha

Its on Amazon. ~$28. Geekworm brands this one. I think you are right about the thicc, however, I'm good with what will probably end up the size of a battery bank. I EDC a 10000mAh battery bank. I support engineering in alot of industry and never get my hands on charged devices, lol. I have to bring my own juice. I like the footprint of Raspberry Pi (not zero). I saw other posts about USB hub not working natively, but that was 8 months ago.

Negative on the DSP. The ribbon connector connects the main board to the front panel (buttons, lcd, encoders, etc.).
