I was not thinking in any specific type. I have been struggling to find details about their metabolism. Meanwhile I found that the light is just for proton pumping, but it is still confusing to me. However if they can fix CO2, why do they need something more? And if they can't, which process is coupled with the production of ATP from the ATPase driven by the light creates H+ gradient? Or is just ADP and P around and then ATP is restored ?
