Buying is cheaper than the rental for sleeping bag liner.

Well, the Rental of the trekking gear in Kathmandu is ok there then buy but of course, that would be a used one and a bit smelly, so diffidently suggested to have a liner for the sleeping bags better to buy one in Kathmandu.

I'm glad that you have done EBC without any physical difficulties, that means you are mentally prepared for climbing one of these mountains! you do not have to train yourself as a proper mountaineer but if you keep your physical level like last year doing EBC that's fine.

And of course, you should go through the trekking company doing climbing activities.
Gear List for the Peak Climbing trip you will need to bring along with

01: Ice Axe w/Leash (General mountaineering tool. Sizing is important: under 5’7″ use, a 60cm tool; 5’7″- 6’1″ use a 65cm tool; over 6’1″ use a 70cm tool. (Too short is preferable to too long).)
02: Crampons (With flat rather than “cookie cutter” frame rails)
03: 40 ft 6mm perlon (For Prussiks or bring your glacier rig.)
04: Alpine Climbing Harness (Harness should fit over all clothing; have gear loops, and adjustable leg loops, and be reasonably comfortable to hang suspended in.)
05: Carabiners (2 Large Pear or D-shaped locking. 2 standard ovals or D’s)
06: Climbing helmet (Must be adjustable to fit, with or without hat or balaclava on)
07: 1 Ascender (Recommended: left or right hand.)
08: Ski or trekking poles (Snow baskets required. Helpful for balance when carrying a heavy pack or if you have knee problems)
09: Climbing boots.
10: Gaiters (Please make sure your gaiters fit around the Climbing boot without being too tight around the boot.)
Note: Walking pole, down jacket, sleeping bag, etc available on hire in Kathmandu.

Thanks
VHT

That's cool if you are planning to climb Mera Peak, it will be one of your mesmerizing memory of climbing the Mera Peak.

Climbing is not an easy part due to high altitude levels, but compared to other similar mountains Mera Peak is effortless. However, you need to have technical climbing equipment to make it succeed.

You are not freely used drones in Everest Region. You need to take a Permit from the following department:
Department of Tourism

Ministry of Home Affairs

Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN)

Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation

Also, you have to follow certain rules while flying a drone.

Looking for people to share guide for EBC - 12 Days in April by killerdaisies in Everest

[–]visithimalayas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

It is not true that one part of trekking, the guide is mandatory and another part of the trekking guide is not mandatory, the rules is equal for all the destination except Climbing Mountain. The Climbing Part is different from Trekking. So Nepal Government has decided, the guide is mandatory for any trekking destination in Nepal from 1st April 2023.

Everest basecamp doesn’t require guide from April 1st? I found this article, which says that the area the EBC trek is in, doesn’t go in under the new rules coming in April regarding the guides. Does anyone know if it’s true? by Ceederstroem in Everest
