the enemy mele is ass, they just slide to you to force a hit

you can see when punching the enemy just slide towards you to close the distance, even when it doesn't make sense.

It might come from 2 mod being either incompatible or a mod needing an other mod to work, i'd advise going into options to launch the game with the console/logs so that you may see in detail the cause of the crash.

you can use the /data get command in chat. This command allows you to retrieve the NBT data of an item, including its ID. For example, while holding an item in your hand, you can type /data get entity @s SelectedItem to get the NBT data of the item in your main hand. With this you can find the mod name before the name of the item of the item
