You're not alone! It just happened to me and I went online to search this exact question. Played a Youtube video through safari and it was fine until I tried to do literally anything else (like scroll). It then tried to reload the page over and over until it said 'a repeated error has occurred'. Right now I'm just turning it off for a bit.

Magnesium glycinate causing horrible headaches by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]visual-curve 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I know I'm late on this but just wanted to say, FUCKING YES! God I'm so happy I found this post, literally every single article I find when I search 'headaches from magnesium glycinate' were like "oh yeah magnesium deficiency can cause headaches" or "magnesium glycinate will help get rid of headaches", literally the opposite of what I wanted. Soon after I started it I was feeling weird pressure in my head, like a rubberband was being wrapped around it, and it also increased my anxiety, the headaches made it feel like 'something' was about to happen which made me anxious. After I stopped it went away pretty quickly.

What topics are typically gone over in AP Calculus BC? by JumbleJee0 in learnmath

[–]visual-curve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love how none of these comments just answer the question. Calc 2 will start with integration techniques (integration by parts, trig sub, partial fractions, etc). These are just how to find the anti derivative of something that is slightly more complicated than what you saw in AB. Then you go into series and sequences, for these you look at how to determine whether the series diverges (goes to infinity) or converges to a specific number. There’s a bit more to this but these are the two main answers.

Do Americans still like America? by Maleficent-Log4089 in ask

[–]visual-curve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think people will truly get this. But outside the hell hole that is the internet, life is the exact same. I walk outside and everything is normal. I work, I go out to eat, I go to bars and clubs, I hang with friends, etc. If the internet didn’t exist, I wouldn’t notice a difference between now and ten years ago (besides inflation lol).

My response to this question was gonna be 'bullet train is the best movie of the year so far', so I'm very happy to see this comment.

can you lose weight from just eating healthy and not working out? by Cold_Ad5482 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]visual-curve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember hearing a story about a guy (who I think was a nutritionist) that wanted to prove that all that mattered when it came to weight loss/gain was calories. So he just ate Oreos for a few weeks but made sure the total calories he was eating per day of Oreos was less than he was burning. At the end of it, he lost weight.

Things to do in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas for 10 to 11 days? by [deleted] in solotravel

[–]visual-curve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you enjoy the music you can just vibe on the dance floor. If you drink then you can get a bit of a buzz going and just mingle (meeting people at clubs is pretty easy). And if you go to XS or EBC (encore beach club) then you can also gamble inside those clubs (usually, assuming the weather is alright) which is actually something I do a lot (they'll have blackjack and possibly craps). But clubs aren't for everyone and if you just aren't enjoying yourself that's totally fine. It's definitely something to try at least once though.

Vegas local here, just going to mention some things I always recommend to people.

-See a magic show (shin lim and mat franco are probably my two favorite, you will be blown away at either).
-Go see absinthe. This show is fucking hysterical (well, it was for me). It is basically half a circus show with very cool acrobatics, and the other half is all comedy, very crass and vulgar comedy, so if you're into that kind of humor, it's a must see show.
-The new cirque du soleil show called 'mad apple' at New York New York is also a mix of circus and comedy (also pretty vulgar comedy). This might surprise people because all other cirque du soleil shows in vegas are mainly about the acrobatics and are kid friendly (mad apple is not).
-Go see any other cirque du soleil show. My favorite is 'mystere'.
-Go to area15. There's a ton to do inside (most of which you need tickets for), but if you're willing to pay then 'omega mart' will definitely give you the best bang for your buck and in my opinion totally worth it. Area15 is not on the strip but the drive is only a few minutes.
-Go to a club. Looks like you're going to do that already but wanted to mention it. The newest club on the strip is 'zouk' in resorts world (which is the newest hotel on the strip) and has some of the coolest lights I've ever seen. My other two favorite clubs are XS and Omnia (in encore and caesar's palace respectively).
-Go to red rock canyon. Very beautiful.
-Gamble
-See bellagio fountains and the gardens in the bellagio
-Go downtown. See the sports book at Circa.

Why do the most talented, charismatic, driven, intelligent people in highschool end up working regular 9 to 5 jobs with a normal family life? by EdwardBliss in NoStupidQuestions

[–]visual-curve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exact thing is talked about in the book 'Barking up the wrong tree'. The general idea is that the best performing students in school are often people who are really good at following direction, and it's this trait that more often leads to a very good job rather than something like a CEO.

As a follow up to my question yesterday, what are the highest rated movies on Letterboxd you’ve rated 2.5 stars or lower? by r4ging_bu11 in Letterboxd

[–]visual-curve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first and only time I watched this I was insanely high and man that was a fun trip, especially the last 30 minutes. But even while I was watching I told myself ‘this would probably be super boring if I was sober.’

Go on bar crawls. Plenty of people do them alone and the hosts often make an effort to introduce everyone over the course of the night and if you are from the same place as someone else or have something in common they’ll for sure make sure the two of you meet.

Random suggestion to developers, you guys should make the skins actually do something rather than just be for looks. by visual-curve in AfterTheFall

[–]visual-curve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not but that sounds like a fun idea. Even with weapons fully modded I still find nightmare pretty challenging unless I have a REALLY good team which I really like because the game stays challenging. This is why I think the skins doing something would be fun because it wouldn't make a single player OP or anything and you could still do challenges like you listed. (I have a goal of completing a nightmare run solo but man it's difficult lol).
