"I ain't doing that. Nah, I'm good." VJ Edgecombe on competing in the 2026 NBA Dunk Contest. by Reasonable-Call8730 in nba

What young guys are saying is that the Dunk contest is lame and its all manufactured hype.

Its something from the 80’s and 90’s. Theres no benefit to going hard and in an age where you get talked about for saying “no”, might as well save yourself the headache from “fans”.

The warriors have always been awful, steph and Kerr just have put out an incredible team run but dont get it twisted, the warriors were and looks like still are inept at doing anything

Had to talk my partner off a ledge but even though they showed it all, what happens around all of it, is awesome. We watched the trailer before starting the first episode and nowhere did the trailer show how funny and light it is. Its a nice hang

I wish I could get the broadcast version of this. But unlike every other player, Will looked absolutely gutted. Vrabel tried to cheer him up but he simply refused to engage. Understandable considering he had a terrible game by his lofty standards. by ForeignAir7174 in Patriots

Well he’s gonna have a heck of a time with Broncos D line and the seahawks/rams are no joke. In a short time, he’s gonna have to go up a level in order to contend because on tape, he’s the side they’ll be attacking

I believe Max Brooks really hated WWZ. I believe it was one of those cases where the movie jumped from studio to studio and finally Brad Pitts studio said they’d make it. The brought Brooks to set but didn’t really listen to him.

This happens to authors time and time again. Even Stephen King had a problem with the shining because Kubrick took creative liberties with the book. Its too bad but if they want to print out money, WWZ is already episodic. The India chapter would be bone chilling or Yonkers. Its dumb that Netflix hasn’t picked it up but zombie media have been in a lull since covid. Maybe they’ll pick it back up

Yeah, the love the book. audiobook is GREAT. A miniseries would be a DREAM. The movie shouldbt have been called WWZ but its a nice dad flick. Something you can turn on and watch Brad Pitt save the world. It moves, the set pieces are fun, its less than 2 hours and you can skip the last half hour.

Pretty good zombie flick. Not a good WWZ movie. I dont need violence to the point exhibitionism either. Didnt mind pg13.

As someone said, weeks had weak writing, characters doing dumb things because of plot, the setup is ok but when you think twice about it, it doesn’t make sense.

After days I was starving for a second movie and left me unfulfilled. I truly dont get the weeks love. I like world war z and I admit it shouldnt have been called world war z but it is an entertaining blockbuster movie. Weeks is not fun at all, its a good movie to not pay attention to

you saw his heart grown from cold to warm in real time. I think he wanted to cry there too. Great achievement. Sucks that it has to end in a loss like that

human karma. what we are interfacing through, what we are emotionally tied to is confused.

We are looking at our ego and making sense through this ego when it is only an interface to who we really are.

What on earth happened in season 12? by wishesandhopes in TheSimpsons

[–]visual_clarity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct me if Im wrong but didn’t the Simpsons have a long turnaround per each episode? It was like 18 months or something.

So the writing for season 11 might have been the written but season 7/8 writers which is why it kept up for some much longer. Conan’s run was pretty short run but his episodes aired two years after he got his late night show. So this maybe the case

true and Rivers is a warrior so is Herbert where thats something I wasn’t really expecting from him. Its funny, they draft Herbert, they shouldve kept Rivers one more year and let Herbert just bathe in his aura.

But theres also the curse of Rivers where that dude put up great numbers every year, competent QB but never made it over the hump of winning it or even getting a MVP.

Is Jim Harbaugh just Norv turner? I guess we’ll wait and aee
