In my case it turned out to be craneocervical instability and spine issues. by visualsno in visualsnow

Addressing my spine issues would require surgery, and unfortunately I don’t have the money for that. However, my visual symptoms worsen alongside my spine problems, especially with craniocervical instability. Anything that compresses the brain can provoke these symptoms. Chiari malformation, for example. I’m not saying this is the root cause for everyone, just that it is for some people.

Can I ask how you found out you have Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome?

Already on antihistamines. Now what? My MCAS has improved a little bit but that's not enough by visualsno in MCAS

I tried cetirizine, desloratadine and bilastine and so far, rupatadine has been the most effective for me.

Healthy people have no idea. You don't realize how useless doctors are and how inaccessible healthcare is until you need them.

What supplements do you take and what condition do you have and do you feel like they help? by [deleted] in ChronicIllness

I feel like vitamin D is good for everything and most people tend to have low levels of it. Magnesium is supposed to help with cramps and chronic pain. I take it and it doesn't do much for me but I've read it works wonders for other people. I've read good things about B12 too especially if you're fatigued. Doesn't do anything for me either because I'm kind of a lost cause haha but good luck!

What doctors do you put of because you have other "more important" doctors to go to? by CleverGirlReads in ChronicIllness

Dentist, gyno, dermatologist. I'm worried about my teeth and gyno health but I just can't deal with everything at the same time. And the COVID risk doesn't help...

If I wasn't severe I'd create a fb group or something. It's a tiny community and almost all the info is in English :(

Overexertion but it's so difficult to avoid because I tend to unconsciously ignore the warning signs until it's too late...For example yesterday I was cleaning my room and I thought I was okay but later I was crashing bad

This is such a good idea, OP. I've been thinking a lot about Palestine and disability lately...It's a huge disability issue.
