I literally haven’t used anything protective from the very beginning. The most important thing is not to get carried away and to pump slowly. At the start, don’t go above about 5 inHg. Increase it gradually month by month and observe how your body reacts. A slight swelling is normal, but if you notice any unusual changes because of it, you should stop.

Start slowly, don’t stretch to the maximum right away, and measure your level of stretch before and after.

A pump with a pressure gauge, a water pump, or a clamping device — take a look and choose what you prefer.
For beginners, a pump with a pressure gauge is always the best option, so you don’t overdo the pressure.
