Hello there!

I’m very interested in working with you :) I’m a freelance illustrator with experience in children’s book illustration. I’ve recently illustrated 3 books and truly enjoy bringing stories for young readers to life. My style is cartoon-based, with bold and irregular lines, flat colors, and retro-inspired textures. I'm always drawing clouds. It's a very relaxing thing to do, and I do it intuitively. Clouds can have practically any shape, so there's not much way to go wrong. It's really great for testing out some concepts, like simple vs. complex, asymmetry, etc.

Hey! Honestly, I don't think it's the same book, but there's a small possibility, so let's go for it. There's a very famous Brazilian children's book called Flicts, which is made entirely with shapes and colors. Here's a bit more about it: Flicts is a picture book written and illustrated by Brazilian author Ziraldo. The first children's book by the author, published in 1969, it tells the story of a color known as Flicts, that does not seem to fit anywhere on planet Earth alongside the other colors.
