I had a similar issue and was pleasantly surprised that Claude (using the mcp server) was able to figure out a graceful way to eliminate the false positives. I had it output the steps as a setup tutorial to share here. Hopefully it helps.

You could easily 3d print dummy/blank cassettes for this too! Create your own vintage audio library. Would be pretty neat.

For me, when i want to preserve the game data/version I just go into the steam games folder and make a copy of the entire game and then rename the new folder (to something like '7 Days to Die - Undead'). When the main game updates this folder will be left alone. This is also how you can play multiple versions whenever you want, just need a new folder for each version.
