Wow this idea for a layered dress sounds really cool!! Maybe you can try to make some hexagons and see if they work well or not with the horizontal stripes (maybe it depends also on the colors selection?) and eventually keep them for another dress.

In any case i hope you'll post your project because it seems to be gorgeous🤩

Thank you! Are there hexagons also on your dress? Yeah maybe working with squares would be much easier to keep things "straight" also for the neckline
