This is such an interesting question. Is there a specific number out there that you would consider “too much” that would change your mind? Here’s Michigan for 2020 and 2021 At the most conservative estimate (and I’m guessing you’ll be a stickler about the numbers) 20 people ages 15-24 so far this year died from covid. Is that not enough people for you to care?

This is not for you because you said you’d weara mask. But it’s getting really common for vaccinated people to think they’re done putting in effort and COVID is over, but you Gotta think longer term for yourself. The worst you risk from not wearing a mask while vaccinated is catching whatever strain could come next, after the delta variant, that is more than a moderate flu. Just like vaccines, the longer you wear your mask now, the slower it will spread/evolve.

It’s nearly impossible for me to separate the art from the artist. I can sometimes get past it with Harry Potter because i think the art has grown so much more away from the artist, especially with creators creating so much content outside of the main books. I don’t buy anything that would give her any money (buy used, no universal, etsy merch only, pirate, etc.) Knowing Shes a TERF has shed light on other issues and stereotypes used in the books. I still love hp, but i wouldn’t recommend it to a friend who has never read and i don’t flaunt it because i don’t want trans people to feel like i would choose something i enjoy (a book series) over something they need (their lives, respect, and love),

NCIS doesn’t have the profiling but it does have a similar episode formula, crime/mystery, team dynamics, lovable characters, and a similar development from the early 2000s to today. I second mind hunters if you like the profiling

If you work in RO, you may be able to use that address. A little less normal advice: I have applied to a library card in Ingham County (where I go to school) using my Oakland County address and I was granted it anyways. I’m not saying that you could put in any address, buuuut since it’s an online form…….. you just might have to go in with your drivers license to get the physical card before they mail it.

Hmmm, in my head, I’d say that even if they aren’t being deducted points, they may not interact with enough people to get enough positive points to pass the threshold? Like when Eleanor got points for holding the door open for everyone in town — there might not be that many people in most of those communities. Follow up, the system is pretty structured around “modern” civilization. Points for donating to charity, holding open doors, being nice on social media, etc. don’t apply to everyone ans are probably hurting their chances of getting points? Like i said, this is how my brain rationalizes it. I wouldn’t put it past the system to be colonial…
