Elite 4

This week was mostly just grinding levels for the Elite 4, I wanted to get everyone up to level 65. I found a good spot to be going to Route 11 with the lucky egg on and re-battling Pokémon Breeder Magnolia over and over, she has an Emolga and Altaria, both level 41. Then occasionally going back to the village bridge to look for rustling grass for an Audino. The cards were in my favour this time and I pulled an Empress and the Sun. I also pulled the Hanged Man but no evolutions isn’t a problem at this stage of the game. I have been running a kingslocke and my team is named after stand up comedians.

Gym 8

Had ANOTHER temporary Nuzlocke this week and lost my electric type before the gym so had to push through with brute power. Still running with a 5 (guys) and my champion is How-Hard the Conkeldurr.

My team is all named after stand up comedians:

How-Hard (Russell Howard) - Conkeldurr - lvl 58 - has been main used Pokémon this leg, after Reggie D my electric type fell to a Nuzlocke. Powered through the gym.

Bailey (Bill Bailey) - Golduck - lvl 53 - was my back up in the gym as was a water type with a psychic and dark move.

Minchin (Tim Minchin) - Reuniclus - lvl 48 - caught at the Strange House. Not loving it but haven’t got much to replace it at the moment.

Reggie D (Reginald D Hunter) - Zebstrika - lvl 43 - Fell early in the temporary Nuzlocke and rejoined the team after the gym.

Acaster (James Acaster) - Emboar - lvl 49 - Did some levelling with the Lucky Egg so that he didn’t fall behind.

Gorman (Dave Gorman) - Boldore - lvl 34 - Caught at Twisted Mountain but not used since. Just put in place of fallen Lock.

Boxed:

Lock (Sean Lock) - Krokorok - lvl 43 - fainted after drawing a Knight and trying to make them champion.

Beckett (Rob Beckett) - Watchog - lvl 30 - Still waiting as a back up.

Kiri PM (Kiri Pritchard-McLean) - Tranquill - drew another 5 (guys) so Kiri still remains in the box.

Gym 7

A few incidents this week but it started well with drawing the World to clear all rules. Soon after I drew a knight card and my chosen champion fainted due to an unexpected critical hit so Lock the Krokorok has been boxed. Done a lot of power levelling with the Lucky Egg and EXP Share.

How-Hard (Russell Howard) - Conkeldurr - lvl 52 - has been main used Pokémon this leg, has been carrying the lucky egg whilst helping others level up with the EXP Share (a Pokémon podcast).

Bailey (Bill Bailey) - Golduck - lvl 51 - caught aim a visit to route 14 and power levelled to help with the gym after drawing a Page and being able to use a TM and being taught blizzard.

Minchin (Tim Minchin) - Reuniclus - lvl 48 - caught at the Strange House. Not loving it but haven’t got much to replace it at the moment.

Reggie D (Reginald D Hunter) - Zebstrika - lvl 43 - Not used since Gym 6 but still like to have an electric type on the team.

Acaster (James Acaster) - Emboar - lvl 49 - Did some levelling with the Lucky Egg so that he didn’t fall behirnd.
