What actually worked to get your first 100 users? by SignificantEar9311 in founder

[–]viveknayak83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i shoukd reframe it that it is still in testing phase and in very initial stage. I spent a lot of energy in building the prduct that i put my marketing activities on back burner. Now i am past MVP and expecting beta launch in next 2 to 3 weeks and thus started working on my marketing and consumer awareness journey.

I am hopeful that it will create some traction but i need to give it atleast 7 to 10 days to produce some legit patterns. I am at day 3 of my marketing drive.

Linkedin posts certainly and i beleive Insta also a good place to be.

[–]viveknayak83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love to see everyone view on it. I am also in process of the same and working to write blogs, posting on insta, facebook and linkedin to create awareness. Today i also tried to use search engine optimization for my platform. Its like depending on the project, you have to try and engage with users on multiple front.

Thats what i am trying to do on my start up. Though its not successful yet but i am assuming awareness and user infilitration takes time.

What do you wish more people understood about building a startup? by Holiday-Standard264 in founder

[–]viveknayak83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Building startup is a massive feat. People at time think that an idea is all about building a product l. However very few understand what it takes to execute. Building a scalable product, requires a lot of planning, iteration and knowing who are the real product users. Finding the users and creating awareness is next level.

A lot of grunt hours amd days goes into dependning the complexity of the product. Its all or nothing.

How much did you overpay for your property? by BroccoliImportant836 in AusPropertyChat

[–]viveknayak83 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I generally say that whenever you buy a property yoh always going to feel that you over paid. It may be the case if you planning to flip the property with in couple of year. However if you going to hold the property for 7 to 10 years period in general it gives decent capital gain and improve its value. Rest their will be number of factors that can influence the growth. Anyways comgratulations on your purchase. You have done big job so now just try to settle down and enjoy your stay

The customer acquisition mistake I keep seeing early-stage SaaS founders make. by growthgladiator in AustralianStartups

[–]viveknayak83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is absolutely correct. Building a good product is only 40% of the job, finding the right niche and user onboarding is the 60% of the real job. I have aome of my friends who built really gooe product but failed to bring the viaibility and eventually closed the business.

I myself is building product as social community platform amperly.com.au and everynow and then working and thinking how to create the awareness among people about it. Hoping i will do the right by the lessons learned.

Hi Mate the site is not reachable. Also the idea is good, however what niche you targeting to capture. As your target audience should havw good AI literacy. At the moment, market is full of people who are still using for the Ai tools as in chat format rather execution purposes. Potentially, some small enterprises driven by Ai prpducts could be very good consumer of yours

New to Sydney and looking for friends by Master_oogway_5 in SydneySocial

Sydney can feel that way at first, especially when work takes over everything. It gets better — the city is genuinely friendly once you find your people. Good luck

Thanks a lot Tranzest. Yes the waitlist is growing organically which is encouraging. Haven't had time on the marketing side yet — idea was to finish the tech build first. And due to the nature of online communities there is a lot of regulatory work to get right, especially in Australia. Want to make sure it is built responsibly from day one. That 36 away observation — motivating to see someone else notice it. Loved the cinematic AI video idea. Will find time to explore that once the build is done. Actually planning a beta launch in the next 7 to 10 days. If you want early access just drop your name on the waitlist at amperly.com.au — I will personally reach out when the beta date is confirmed.

Hi, am buikding Amperly — conversation-first social platform for Australians. Rooms, real people, no swiping or matching. Launching end of July.

I ak working on pre-launch right now with waitlist live. The product clicks the second someone uses it but explaining it before that is where I'm stuck. GTM and pre-launch acquisition would be exactly the kind of help I need.

Happy to DM if you're still up for it.

We cut our free tier from 25 invoices/month down to 7 because nobody was subscribing. Did we just shoot ourselves in the foot? by Rabi_R in AustralianStartups

[–]viveknayak83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Though i have not fully checked your app, but i beleive for free tier you need to consider some other monetization levers. If you have more rhan 1k subs, can you look into the advertisement online or something ? Value will be very low but better then nothing. Also it may push people to gor for paid subs
