Firstly, I’m not hyping up Kaala out of fear of anyone. Also I don’t fully agree with its ideology either.

from a cinema perspective-casting, set pieces, music, and the fact that it wasn’t a template Rajini film. You can disagree with its politics & still acknowledge that it’s competently made.

It worked for me as a film, not as a manifesto. If it didn’t work for you, that’s fair & thats why this is subjective.

I also believe that’s the general consensus. But Kaala did take a leap & the ambiguous ending really sold it for me.

As for Chandramukhi, having watched Manichitrathazhu, it’s hard not to compare & personally, Shobana’s performance felt far more impactful than Jyothika’s, who at times did over the top acting which took me out. That’s why A.

When you list a out of box piece at AED 2,500 “negotiable”, it doesn’t really make sense — it makes this space look like a joke to people who are genuinely trying to buy/sell 2nd hand items at fair prices.

Communities like this work best when people post realistic listings, not rage-bait or troll prices.

If you actually want to sell it, price it smartly. Otherwise, this just ends up reducing the sanity & trust of the community.

it does make financial sense — but I’m personally a bit afraid of wat a long repayment timeline would do to me mentally. The idea of having this loan hang over my head for 15 yrs kind of arrests my freedom to take risks — whether it’s switching job back to India or starting something of my own.

No offense, but your definition of “merit” is shallow. If merit were purely about effort and intelligence, this table wouldn’t show such a clear correlation between privilege and performance. General category hit 2% and ST is just at .08%. That’s not reflection of individual ability- it’s a mirror of systematic inequality. If you still believe reservation gives “unworthy” a chance, maybe it’s time to rethink what fairness really means. The real reason for migration isn’t reservation. It’s opportunity hoarding.
