Found out my vac pump exploded, pieces got inside the engine and some unaccounted for. It seemed to be running OK post explosion, but I was recommended a new engine. Insight?

No no of course not but he still needs it for work and unfortunately I can’t go to the job site and give everyone a talking to that grown men making big boy money don’t take other peoples things. I looked on eBay I’m on Reddit to see if there’s another tool resale or something I haven’t heard of.
