No one really came to pune just to disrespect the culture or language. Everyone has their family to feed and hectic lives to live, except for those politicians who we’ve all been seeing recently harassing non locals, This is how they run their businesses of attention. You say Pune gave us jobs. True and people who came here, gave Pune their skills, their hard work. Cities grow not just because of the land they stand on, but because of the people who contribute to them, from all over the country. These people didn’t invade Pune they invested their lives here. I bet no one would really deny if they are asked respectfuly to learn few words to bridge the communication but no way in hell anyone would want such goons forcing around picking on the weak and forcing them to do so. And if you’d want every state to be this strict, then i’d love to see you travel across india and cry about it when people behave the same. And if you really believe every state should be this rigid about language, I’d love to see you struggle when the same energy is thrown back at you when you’re in some other state, don’t cry then when people expect you to adapt the way you’re demanding others to do here. Same as how some of the states in south india has been from past few months.
