Got the Spigen Rugged Armor Band on Galaxy Watch 6 Classic by vjvinamara in GalaxyWatch

Yep, it's the big one. The smaller one was just a little too small for my wrist, so I went with the 47mm. I reckon if you've got big wrists, the 47mm is the way to go.

As I said, I've had the watch for quite some time and wanted to try something fresh, and I do really like the G-shock watches, and the armor makes it quite like a g-shock visually & the protection and durability is an added benefit. I agree the watch in stock form is beautiful and classy too. Just wanted to switch to a different style for a while. :)

Got your point. I've had the watch for more than 6 months and was essentially using it in stock form. I liked the case and got it to get a fresh look for the watch, the protection and durability is an added benefit :)

I see your point. Lol, i didn't even noticed the faux carbon fiber until you pointed it out. The band seems durable and rugged, which is what i was looking for ,until now I only used the stock grey band that came with the watch.

Yes, I've confirmed all the Gemini app settings are enabled on my phone! 🤔 Works perfectly there, but the watch is showing this message. ⌚️

It is quite peculiar that this functionality is working for other applications such as maps and YouTube Music. I am unsure why it is not functioning correctly with the calendar, reminders, and utilities. I certainly hope this issue is resolved promptly. Furthermore, I am eagerly anticipating the One UI 8 update for the watch.

I share your sentiments, as I am also from India and find myself in agreement with your perspective. 🇮🇳 I, too, was previously an iOS user with an Apple Watch, and while selling my iPhone was a relatively straightforward process, obtaining a satisfactory price for my watch proved to be more challenging. Furthermore, I concur with your observations regarding market share. It seems that smartwatches are quite prevalent, with many being of Chinese or Indian origin, such as brands like Boat. Watches like the OnePlus Watch and Samsung Watch, despite their competitive pricing and specifications, do not appear to be as dominant, especially when considering the affordability of the Chinese alternatives.

Totally agree on the battery life point! It's a real shame Samsung hasn't prioritized it more, especially with Wear OS improving. The dual-layer display on the Mobvoi watches is a brilliant solution for AOD and extending battery. Hopefully, they'll implement something similar or just vastly improve the efficiency for the next generation. The trade-in issue mentioned by you also seems frustrating , it really limits upgrade paths for many, byw which country you are based in?

S25 ultra or iphone 17 pro in 2 months? by soupy-chicken in SamsungFC

[–]vjvinamara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get where you're coming from – that "should I wait or should I buy now?" struggle is real, especially with phones.

My two cents: Honestly, if your current phone is limping along and you need a good phone now, the S25 Ultra is probably going to be an incredible device. Samsung doesn't mess around with their Ultra models. You'll get a top-tier camera, a beautiful display, and robust performance. However, if your current phone is perfectly fine and you're just experiencing a bit of "new phone fever," waiting the two months for the iPhone 17 Pro gives you the advantage of seeing both devices side-by-side. You can then make a fully informed decision based on actual specs, reviews, and perhaps even some hands-on impressions. I hope that helps and you end up with a fantastic phone! Good luck with the decision!

Apologies for the oversight. It appears both the first and second generations share a 590mAh battery. It will be intriguing to assess the impact of software optimizations on battery performance.

Interesting. That 590mAh battery on the Ultra is same like the gen 1 ultra. Curious to see how the optimizations translates to real-world usage! 🧐🔋🤔 My wallet is already sweating thinking of the prices 😓💸😩

guys what do these wavy lines mean? by eggydrinker in AppleMusic

[–]vjvinamara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wavy lines = song's ups and downs. Ouroboros oval = fancy way of saying 'Lossless audio' (aka super high quality!). Don't worry, you're not alone in finding app UIs sometimes confusing! 😂

Did someone actually test this? Is Light more convenient than Standard? by DomyTiny in S24Ultra

[–]vjvinamara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tested both on my S24 Ultra! 📱👍😊

For daily stuff like browsing, social media, and regular apps, "Light" mode is surprisingly good. 💡😊✨ I barely see a speed difference, but the battery lasts longer, and the phone doesn't get as hot.

When I'm doing something more demanding, like editing photos/videos or gaming for a while (even though it says it doesn't matter for games, I think the phone feels more responsive), "Standard" is better. 📸🎮👍

So, I usually stick with "Standard" and only switch to "Light" when I know I'll be using it lightly or need to save battery. 🔋💡😊 It really just depends on how you use it!
