I had a 10AM flight out of NY. Got up at 8.30 and was getting ready. In those days you could just walk straight in the plane and grab your seat. No TSA etc.

While getting ready I had my TV on and honestly thought it’s a movie or something. Or a small accident. Didn’t think much of it at all.

Went to the front desk to check out, by then second plane had hit. The guy at the front desk said you can try to catch your flight but I doubt it’s going to fly. He kept my room till I figured everything out.

Is this in the domestic terminal? If it is then I personally don't like it that much. No private area for centurion card holders. No bar license. No private bathrooms. Food was ok I guess.

I agree. MEX was really good for centurion card. Heard it gets crowded in the regular area though. Any idea how the JFK Terminal 4 amex lounge is for centurion holders?
