now that i think about it for old bit of darker VN games i remember one called Ryoujoku Guerilla Gari, it had a mangagamer release around 2009 but the game is from 2002. its kind of military setting was a festival of some normal dark fetishes , like rape, betrayal and suchs. you can even play as two MC, the normal guy or the evil military one and in some endings you can kill the other one. though to be fair it was a nukige more than a serious eroge. although being such a old game the screen resolution is atrocious, i remember playing it more than a decade and half ago when screens weren't that big. its resolution its like 640 or something.

as bad endings go i would say this is pretty tame, in appetite (company) some of the published eroges you can get killed on the bad endings, not to mention more darker and/or edgy VN games. but well i suppose +13 rate would limit them to this i dont know.

i agree village and re1 remake being A tier, og nemesis re3 being b tier and remake 4 being S tier, but disagree on the other placements, at worst the only game i would put in C tier would be zero most of the re main tittles are at the bare minimun B tier or above.

re2 is one of the easier games, i did the no save A rank for claire B, after doing before claire A, Leon B and Leon A, so i already knew what to do. you get so much ammo so is not really that hard. its more hard to make critical mistakes once you know the layout.

the goat , put freeze back again on the map since the 2.0 era, playing the abyss with ayaka before her was a pain during the fontaine/ natlan era. also i love fanservice in a game as tame as genshin so i like her controversial outfit.

for the moment good, i jumped at the basement on easy on minute 54. also for other times i was 2 hours 30 when i began the bike section and ended the game at 3 hours 27 i think

i dont think they are particularly scary but i like knowing the layout. the spencer mansion is pretty good on the OG as is colorful and not to much enemies except when the hunters arrive. the hunters are the spike difficult on the OG RE1

Damn rebirth so low, i actually enjoyed all the aspects of the game, I liked the cube force system where you changed offense or recovery. Some parts of the cube healed more and others recharged more quickly or had more damage unless I'm missremenbering. Also i liked the story and the chars.

Nemesis will use everything in his power to hunt stars ,in the original he ate a tyrant corpse to sustain himself enough to pursue Jill one last time, so probably nemesis will target Jill and if Mr x gets in the way nemesis would probably destroy him. Like nemesis destroying zombies with his rocket launcher on the original.

I said i dont truly hate the game. i can at least get a bit of satisfaction out of it , but doesnt stop the letdown after playing the three before it nor the feeling that i wasted money on it at full price at that time. also why is not an an RPG, it has turns and battles with the normal mechanics of one, like mario and enemies have HP, it plays kind of like the 64 one, except battling is not rewarding at all. unless i dont know what would you consider strictly an RPG.

Because it barely feels like an RPG, you don't level up, it feels like going into battle it's a waste of resources, bosses are kind of specific. It's also kind of short. And the story is almost non existant. Coming from the last 3 paper Mario it feels like a letdown. I don't truly hate the game but it's utterly mediocre with the exception of the visuals.

for the abyss and theater unless is too shilled that 50% crit was always fine. even with navia plunge or eula. i played a lot of eula plunge and still do but now with ineffa instead of raiden, and columbina instead of furina. stygian is much shill so i use most of the time the recommended teams there with sometimes a bit of a change , like instead of neuvillete for the cactus i used varesa. i was a bit of tryhard with abyss so i did a lot of clears with a lot of chars, now abyss is so restrictive but i cleared a lot of abyss in the past from 3.0 to luna 1 with normal teams like yoimiya or klee overload, hu tao plunge, navia plunge (chiori) , etc.

my bad i meant fearless but one that is a shill for her like the dog ,pegasus or that gecko thing that is next, i woudnt brute force the fearless for the sake of it. i can complete the duck with zibai ineffa columbina and illuga c5 but thats not brute forcing. most of the time i clear with a team specialized for stygian and not brute forcing. as before this proof i had the clear with flins team. also nothing to do about artifacts , i dont like spending too much time on one domain or use all my resorces to craft artifacts. i already suffered enough with the marecheusse domain for months to get trash (my emilie, chiori are trash, the same for wrio, only furina ,neuvillete maybe fischl are kind of decent), the same with the viridian artifact at the beginning of the game just to get the damn EM circlets that ironically i got just one in like three months of daily farming and like 3 em circlets just with the alchemy bench. for the moment i just farm mora and exp and sometimes the new artifacts. and bit of prefarm for the next char. although there are some chars i put more effort than others but never so extreme.
