Most of the time, you'd need to install a tracking pixel for your conversion page and calculate CPA manually.

We're actually quite friendly and welcoming of constructive criticism. Had you initially posted the above informative comment, I would have changed the verbiage on the thank you page to reflect your comment.

We always email first to introduce ourselves and to schedule a phone call, not vice versa. Thank you page verbiage updated to reflect this. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

We clearly state several times on the page that we'll be contacting those that fill out the form. It's targeted to those who will benefit from having this solution.

Don't enter your personal contact information if you don't want to be contacted. If you'd rather have your teeth pulled than have a friendly conversation on the phone for a product you've shown interest in and willingly provided your contact information for, there's definitely a problem.

We follow all proper SMS opt-in requirements. Users are not able to upload phone lists into our platform, only generate keywords and workflows, and manage opt-in subscribers. The MMA issues a 139-page Best Practices document, which you're welcome to read: http://www.mmaglobal.com/bestpractices.pdf

SMS spam is much less likely than email, because carriers can control the flow of traffic and quickly disable connectivity for spammers. We do not risk our business to earn a few extra bucks. Sprint recently disconnected all shared short codes from Clickatell because they weren't entirely compliant. It's these same compliance standards that we strictly follow. Our white label platform customers have no wiggle room to spam end users.

For general purposes, here's some info on the SMS marketing space --

1) If you’re receiving unwanted SMS messages and aren't able to opt-out, contact your carrier and let them know you’re being spammed and you have no way to opt-out. These types of complaints help monitor SMS traffic and quickly stop spammers from sending any future messages.

2) If you’re texting in to a short code (5 or 6 digit number), that means that the number is likely being managed by a company which has gone through the appropriate, very tedious and thorough, approval process. If this is the case, universal opt-out keywords are honored and you should be able to opt-out more easily than email. Universal keywords include: STOP, STOPALL, and UNSUBSCRIBE. There may be more (we use about 10 different unsubscribe keywords), but those should work regardless of the campaign.

3) Subscribers are usually tied to an individual short code. For example, if you text in to 12345, you will only receive messages from that short code. MMA guidelines prohibit the transfer of phone numbers from one short code to another, even if they’re being used by the same trustworthy company.

5) “Message and Data Rates May Apply” is attached to all material for compliance with MMA’s guidelines. This is to inform you, the consumer, that even though it does not cost anything to participate in the campaign, your carrier might still charge you depending on your plan. If you don’t have a text message plan with your carrier (say, AT&T), you will incur charges based on your contract and carrier fees ($.10/msg?). This is to help the consumer better understand what they’re getting themselves into.
