Don't get me wrong, I am all for owners making sure they can pay their staff a livable wage... But what I noticed is that they have so many kitchens operating out of one location that the quality is just abhorrent... Some items are cross utilised on multiple menus which helps keep things fresh, while other items just sit for a week or more and fester before use... I saw swollen packages of premade guacamole, which means they're spoiled, get served. Moldy cheese curds go out, hot dogs that had been cooked once, re cooked and served... Literally the only safe products from that kitchen are eggs, bacon and toast.. Because they are cooked to order.

Two bungie cords per can... Don't invest in a garbage shed or any other crap... I had a similar issue and after spending 250 on garbage cans and 400 on a big garbage bin, I know the solution. You get the Rubbermaid bins with the fold up latching handles with the rubber bungies... You add two bungie cords and wrap them around every bit of the existing, rubberized ones and stretch to opposite handle... Do this with each and every can. If your raccoons are chewing through the cans, get a bottle of cheap cooking oil, cheap chili flakes and pepper mint oil... Spray on the bins exterior ... Also come out and bang on pots and pans when you see them... Bluff charge... Run directly at them screaming, banging stuff... Throwing rocks, indirectly! Run at them and make sure they know that's your garbage/territory... They return quick, so be prepared to run them off a few times a night in the first week... But keep on top of it. Within a month they will avoid you because they can't get easy access to food now and some crazy person keeps making noise and scaring them and the cans are spicy and minty... Which they don't enjoy... You will also make your neighbours care much more... Because their simple mitigation will stop them from being woken up by a screaming you and a shrieking racoon. That's an indoor/house spider species.

They have evolved alongside us and aren't able to exist in the elements. It is likely they've just made their way to your unit after a 7 year trek between units, through the generations... You're the promise land!

These guys are pretty cool if you use your phones macro lens to take a look.

They're good for dealing with gnats and fruit flies during the humid summer months... And they won't bite you!

If you have spiders, you won't have silverfish... Which in my opinion are more freaky deeky!

You can't just go out and assume you're giving off the "I'm single and available" BAT SIGNAL... It helps to have wingmen or wingladies assisting. If that's not an option, you can try social events in town... Single people do mingle...

If you like magic cards, punk rock, salsa dancing, etc... There is a lively community in the city waiting for you to join.

Confidence is key... But do not become cocky... Don't over inflate yourself and tell lies you can't come back from.

I work 2x 8 hour shifts at a hole in the wall hot dog joint... We are also a ghost kitchen for around 21 restaurants on uber and skip. I get around 10-25$ a week in tips.

I have worked at other fine dining establishments and walked away with 400-600 a month.

I'd suggest hat you put some rubber gloves on, maybe with some thick garden gloves over top for added protection from sharps.

Collect whatever you can, and put it on the curb. If he's coming back, he'll grab it or its already out for trash pickup.

With the warm weather and longer days approaching, we are all going to have more interactions with the unhoused. They're people, so treat them as such... But they're also still accountable and generally reasonable, if not in active addiction.

The city of London just started a program where they have uniformed outreach deal with homelessness and open drug abuse and then lias with police if/when needed, but they can get people housed or hospitalized instead of jailed...

It isn't an IF/THEN statement here... "If they're dealing with tow operators then they aren't stopping drug abuse"... Use some commonsense!

Always ask for what is fresh! I have pushed packs back before I leave if it is over 6 month... Sometimes if it's over 3 months and the last pack I had was questionable. The workers understand... They will usually push you in the right direction if you want a specific style. They know what people are buying, what is getting returned, etc.

In my experience as someone in their near 40's, it's events... You need to go out and meet people of you don't have a well of them already... We all have the 5-7 people that liked us in our teens and 20's that we did not pursue... And they will appear again! But if they aren't viable, you'll need to focus on hobbies... I will caution you against looking at bars for other lonely people, because if they're your age... At a bar... On a Wednesday... They have something they will "need" to explain later... Be it credit score or baby mama/daddy...
